Its been four years since you passed away.  My mom passed in June and I remember you comforting me and telling me that the memories are the only thing that stays in your heart.  Then you passed in September and I just could not understand why.  The holidays are here and I remember you sewing until all hours of the night pajamas and blankets for the kids and everyone you could finish for.  I miss you my friend, the county misses you, and we will always be indebted to you for your commitment to excellence in everything you taught us to do. 
Blessings to you in heaven Denise as I know you are sewing up a storm ! Love you and I know you are missed every day by so many people you touched.

Still think of you often at random times when sitting at my desk of my office or when I walk by your old cubicle.   Too many good memories to let go!   You were a special special person and friend.    I know your up their chatting away with your homies and having a hoot of a time.

I have fond memories of Denise as my older cousin when we were young children whether playing at their house in Oxnard or out on family camping trips.
She was always kind and even, protective. She will be missed by all. My deep condolences to her close family and friends.

To the Ward and Pringle Family I'm sorry for loss of Denise. I am knew her since Jr high and at Hueneme High she was the nicest person I've ever met at school. I haven't seen her in a long time but found her in Facebook. She always had smile on her face. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Prayers for all of you.

I met Denise in 1978 at a Christmas display  table, at Topanga Plaza,  for a Foster Children's Christmas gift fundraiser sponsored by her volunteer group, CATHY.
We quickly became great friends and remained so until September 22nd last week. We had everything in common, a love of rock & roll, a love of kids, no matter how quirky  or unique, a love of family and a general love of life. Her laugh and sense of humor were huge gifts.
She was so smart, so funny and so generous, just a joy to be with. Our kids grew up together and I feel honored to have shared so many wonderful years having her as my friend.
 My love and sorrow go out to Richard, Janelle, Ryan, Eric, Michelle, Keesha, and Hayley and Lucas, and Eric's new baby, due next year.

I am shocked and shaken to my core to have lost my wonderful friend.

I am deeply sadden by the passing of Denise.  A rush of memories I shared with her when we worked at APS together.  We would hoover around her cubicle at lunch time, the times we would bring up Rick James, she would always be down to dance.  Whenever I would see her she always had that wonderful smile that would make me smile just as much.  And always, always she would talk about all her children especially Keisha. And the times that she would get excited because she would be meeting Keisha for lunch. You will be missed dearly.  Another angel to look down upon us.

Denise was such a blessing to know.  She had such a beautiful spirit.  I am fortunate to have memories of her that make me smile.  Denise will be missed dearly.

Denise was one of a kind.  She was always so pleasant and welcoming, and let's not forget meticulous. Lol.  She showed me what real work ethics look like.  Her passion for assisting fellow coworkers while enhancing the quality of life for the people in the community resonated through her dedication and beautiful smile.  Denise will be loved and truly missed.

I'm shocked and saddened by the loss of Denise.  We've worked together on several job assignments together and each time, she had such a warm character.  She often spoke of her family; never missing an opportunity to share some of her family photos; particularly of her adorable grandchildren.  I will miss her warm smile and gentle approach.  She will be missed!

Denise was a gift to us all!!!  It has been a pleasure to have been able to call her a friend.  I am very grateful for I having the opportunity to spend quality time with her recently....although we did not have our handmade lush soap party at Michelle house:-) Keisha???

Denise had such a beautiful soul and was always such a pleasure to be around. Her kind spirit and welcoming smile never failed to brighten up a day. I am truly sadden by her passing. May she rest in peace.
