Donald K. Gibson passed away peacefully on June 26, 2010, at the age of
eighty-eight. He was born in Pomona, CA, to Walter and Ethel Gibson. He spent
his early years in Pomona, and then lived in Fresno, CA and the Bay area. He
spent the last forty-one years of his life in Southern California. He worked in
several fields, including the phone company, sales, and the retail business,
which he loved. At one time, he owned a toy store in Whittier, CA. He is
survived by his wife Betty, sons Don and Steve, step-daughters Peggy and
Colleen, grandchildren Brooke, John, Graham, and Brent, and step-grandchildren
Jared and Rachel. Services will be held at Mt. San Antonio Gardens, 900 E.
Harrison St. Pomona, CA, (Gallery Room) at 1 pm on August 15, 2010.
Donald was admired and respected by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
