Lynn,
Paul and I and our kids loved James! I’m sure Bekah felt like she had another brother growing up! I just wanted to share a few fun memories.
1.	The potato cannon. James was so proud that they made something “that actually worked!” Every bit of produce from my fridge was a missile. 
2.	Paul dyeing their hair black. The boys wanted to do it, but they would have been running down the carpeted hallway so Paul said he would. I remember your James calling my James and saying he was “doomed” and the dye would never come out.
3.	Once when I kept James for the week the boys made a huge Lego skatepark with a halfpipe. James meticulously made each character in the stands different. 
4.	James and James thought it was so funny to scare you with fake blood so they threw the basketball against the house and my James ran inside saying your James fell off the trampoline and hit his head. Your James should have won an Oscar with his performance! 
5.	James once was cutting my Thanksgiving table décor (paper leaves) into cannabis leaves. My elderly mother was shocked.
6.	Remember when James poured the cologne into Tim’s fishbowl? We found the fish belly-up and they smelled “manly”, but no one would take credit. Later, James fessed up.
7.	The boys all wanted to ride BMX bikes and James got this sweet MOSH bike (my boys were jealous), but he fell and broke his arm on the first race (I think it was also the last race!)
8.	James calling up Christmas morning so excited about his new e-bike.
9.	James and James once brought home rats from the pet store. They wanted to keep them here as James knew you would say no. I said no as well. They let them go in the desert.
10.	James stayed here once during high school and I said it was close enough to walk. He said “NO!” I bet him that is was less than a mile. I took him all week. It was 1.1 miles.
11.	James begged me to stop at Wienerschnitzel as they were giving away free sandwiches. He started screaming in the van. His had sauerkraut on it. 

James, I'm deeply grateful to you for the many acts of kindness that you showed me during the past seven months since my brother (your boss) Dmitri died.  Your humor and team effort were so helpful in keeping Santa Monica Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.  going.  You were such a bright light.  It seemed to me that things were just getting better and better for all of us.  I remember our conversation after work on Friday, April 12.  You were so funny describing your frustration with the flaky customer who never showed but you also expressed so much happiness and hopefulness about buying the business.  It was great.   You were great.  You're missed.  Sincerest condolences to your family.

I am very sorry to hear of James' passing.  My heart goes out to dear family and friends.  1 Corinthians 1:3 comes to mind; "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort".  May you know the comfort of heaven in the days ahead.

James, I only met you a few times but it was quite evident what a smart, witty, funny, and kind man you were. You we’re surrounded by so much love and support and you gave it right back. I could see the happiness you gave your family and in turn how happy you were to be with them too. Gone too soon but may you rest forever in peace.

We met passing by introducing one another, merely having little to say to each other, I was leaving you were coming in. Six months later I came back and we met once again, this time working side by side with conversation and laughter, never a dull moment. As time moved forward, a week ago we’re good friends keeping each other in the loop about everything everyday, confiding in each-others failures, thoughts, troubles and our ambitions in life. It’s been a pleasure and honor having you as a friend. It’s been a week already and got a lot  of catching up with you already, till we meet again. I miss you, and I love you brother.

I knew James from 6th grade on. We hadn't been close for the last few years but we were always friends and grew up together in high school in the desert. He was one of the funnest, most generous, and light-hearted people I've ever met. He had a fun-loving spirit but was always loving and real to the people that he cared about. He was the kind of guy that made the atmosphere happier when he was around. James just lit up a room with fun and positivity and humor. And as I said before, he was always generous and kind. He did things like bought me fast food when I was hungry, he got me a job when I needed one, and he'd pick me up if I was out of gas. He was also a great talker and support and talking things through with him helped me get through some complicated times as a young man. He will be missed as one of the few wonderful people this world has and hopefully this tragedy will see him happy and content wherever his spirit may reside. We love you James Hart! Thank you for everything!

You were a good friend and have come a long way.  I was shocked to hear of your passing!  You will be missed!  I'm sorry to see you go so soon, buddy.  It's true that you really touched the hearts of the people who knew you.

Damn James stunt by the new it a pleasure to get a chance to know you. Thought about the guys the other day.  Was thinking about the fun times we had during class and lunch brakes best time ever in spent In school I say lol. Kept you guys in my prayers ever since. We talked about having a class reunion and never happen now it have to wait. We will see you in paradise later on bro take care and look over you're love ones. Blessings from Gutierrez family. 

Our hearts are truly breaking. So many wonderful memories with James. From our families growing up in church together, to elementary school yard friends, to running into you in our 20s at random times and places. You were always so sweet to me and just such an amazing, bright soul, with a smile that could light up a room. I think my favorite memory of you is Liz babysitting us one summer. We would listen to 100.5 all day long and play Wheel of Fortune on Sega for hours. Thanks for the memories and for always being so genuinely kind. That’s truly a rare quality in a person. God bless you, my friend. We love you.

James was a very intelligent, fun loving guy. Always in good spirits. I attended trade school with him and kept in touch after that. We’ve lost a good soul. May he now rest. “have fun in heaven brother!”

I went to trade school with james. And we kept in contact though the years.  He was always very knowledgeable and always had a huge smile on his face.  He will be greatly missed. 

    I first met James when he was about 2! Lynn was my EKG instructor and she came by the hospital after hours to pick up some paperwork. She had James with her and he was this so very cute blonde baby running down the halls, giggling and telling everyone who passed HI!
    Later as a teen he would sometimes join Lynn and I for one of our monthly dinners. He was always sweet, quiet and respectful.

I'm so sorry for the loss. James was one of my students when he attended trade school. Even though he had some personal issues while attending, he always strived to be better. As time went by we no longer were just Instructor and student, we became friends, and through out the year's we kept in touch. Wow brother I can't believe that your gone. May the Lord watch over you and your family. You will truely be missed.

Dear Lynn and family, I was so very saddened to read of his passing.  I know that it was a long battle for him and he tried so hard.  You are an amazing and supportive family. My eyes are filled with tears, my heart broken.  I will cherish our times together for ever.   James was witty, smart, funny. And filled with humor.  Our recent conversations were special, and he expressed his love to me.  James was genuine, kind, and a special nephew.  I will always hold him dear to my heart.

I  was honored and blessed, to share many special times with  you in my life James. We spent numerous times together at Aunt Donna's house,  holidays, visits,  vacations and my various trips from Buffalo.   I'm very sad to hear the  news, knowing you fought a very strong battle  and succeeded your challenges.  I was so proud of you !!! 

You were always a strong ,determined young man, who wanted to achieve a  successful career, which you did !!! I was proud and honored for you to call me  Aunt Kathy, even though we weren't blood, but our bond was different, we were closer than family.      I will always cherish our time together, especially when we went to the beach !!!
