My sincerest condolences go out to the Baskin family.  John was one of those guys that once he got to know you he was your friend for life.  I was lucky enough to have John in my life for 35 years!  Both John and Margaret were like my California Parents (mine were in Minnesota) that made me that much closer to them.                                                                                         I will always have this special place in my Heart for John and Margaret right along side of my own Parents. I will so miss the both of them dearly!!!!!!         God now has two very special people to watch over their extended family.

May the Lord guide and extend his comforting ways to the Baskin's family in this time of sorrow!

John we have known both him and Margie for over 55 years and will miss them oh so much and have so many memories of fun times with them from Las Vegas, New Year's Eve parties, to all our visits and Christmas Eve with all the kids, to Margie as my boss at Packard Bell the Teledyne and she was a great boss and they both became our dearest friends for a life time and will miss them both so much. John had a fantastic sense of humor always and loved him so.. Now they are together in heaven and free from pain and with each other. May they both rest in peace. God love them, Frank and Barbara Carrico, friends forever

Our sincere condolences to the beautiful Family of Grandpa Baskin.  He was a wonderful person!  We have fond memories of Grandpa and Grandma Baskin.  We still remember the "Big Picture" of their grandson Johnny in his Jockey Silks hanging in their front room & the out-pouring of Love that they had for their family when we attended a family celebration at their home.  May he rest in peace with Grandma through all Eternity.

Dearest John,
I had known you and Margie for at least 30 years, Lance was only 2 or 3 years old when we got to know each other. I could always count on laughing with you and Barbie. I would come over at holidays and other times just to visit. It was a very special time for me. May God take care of you and Margie. You will forever be in my heart.

i look at my phone calendar i see it would be my weekend and realizing there will never be my weekend again i lose it and all i can say i love you and hope you can hear me

Dear Papa,
I once had a papa of my own. Sadly he passed when i was only 2 years old. This was long before i was able to create many memories of my own with him. When I meet your granddaughter 3 years ago you and nana treated me like one of your own. Thank you for giving me sometime to have a papa again and thank you for all the dirty jokes to tell nurses when I get older.

I will always love you papa. I know you will always be with me no matter what.
