Joyanne Pease, 90, Agoura Hills resident for 46 years passed away on Friday February 18, 2022. She was born May 13, 1931 in North Dakota, to Les and Marie Remington. In 1941, when Joyanne was 10 years old they left North Dakota and moved to Salem Oregon. They lived there till they moved to Grants Pass, Oregon in 1949. They remained in Grants Pass until Joyanne graduated from high school. She then moved back to Salem where she met her husband Rodney Pease. They married January 18, 1958.
That’s where their travels began, as they moved to Philadelphia then Georgia and settled in Northern California in 1960. In 1976, they made their final move to Agoura Hills, CA, where they raised their family.
Rod died in 2001 leaving Joy a widow. Joy was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was well known for being feisty and often getting into mischief whenever possible. She was extremely independent and loved adventure. Her favorite past time was shopping.
She is survived by her children, Rick, Danny and Wendy, Grandchildren Rob and Heather, TC, Cameron, Kevin and Shayne, Great-grandchildren Rhylla, Lyric and Addie and brother Bud.
Graveside service will be held at Pierce Brothers Mortuary in Westlake Village, 12:00 noon on Tuesday, March 1st.
