She graduated from El Monte High School in 1957, and continued her education at Orange Community College where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse.
She worked as an RN for 30+ years at Long Beach Community Hospital in Long Beach, and St. Jude’s Medical Hospital in Fullerton, CA.
She was actively involved in Travel, Senior Yoga, Scrapbooking, Cake Decorating, and was an accomplished stained glass artist.
They are survived by their two children; daughter Karen, and son Richard; and one grandson, Tyler.
The family would like to thank Hospice Hale in Maui for the care and compassion they showed mom in her final days. Also, to Macreen and Marjorie at her final care home.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, April 8th at 10:00AM.
