Launcelot Rolda, aged 49, passed peacefully in his sleep on August 14, in Merced, CA. Lance was born on May 5, 1972 to Rick and Josefina Rolda in Quezon city, Philippines. In 1989, he immigrated to Los Angeles, CA and later attended UCLA then graduated from Solano College and College of the Air Force. He then met the love of his life, Pamela Castillo-Rolda, and had been married for 22 years at the time of his death. Lance is survived by his wife, daughter (Paula Rolda), sister (Alethea Espino), and his parents.
Lance also had huge military pride and joined the US Air Force. He was in the military for 13 years.
Lance was a devoted father, brother, son, and friend. In his spare time he loved to watch Korean dramas and crime shows with his wife and daughter. He enjoyed learning the Korean language, he would often listen to kpop and practice speaking with his daughter. He loved to sing and perform for his wife and daughter just to make them smile. He was a basketball and football fanatic making bets with his wife during games. He was a chef as well, making good food to feed his family. He was also an avid reader and even wrote some poetry.
