

A loving husband of Fran, who survives him in addition to their sons Marc Di Giacomo and Eric Taylor, his wife Brooke, four grandchildren, and two brothers, Frank and George. Many of his earlier years were spent in the commercial real estate profession and banking where he earned numerous awards. He eventually established his own real estate development and management company which he successfully operated for many years. Born and brought up in Westchester, New York and Greenwich, Connecticut, Len earned a degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, and completed graduate work at the University of Utah. He was an avid snow skier and while living in Utah he was President of Salt Lake Young Republicans, President of Utah Young Republicans, President of Salt Lake Jaycees, and active member of Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce where he worked on the beginning stages of bringing the 2002 Winter Olympics there. A long-time member of Bent Tree Country Club where he enjoyed golf, tennis and physical fitness, Len, a first generation American of immigrant parents, was a self-starting business executive, continuing to conduct his business activities even though he and his wife dealt with cancer and severe arthritis. Raised during the depression, Len learned frugality, hard work, honesty, and devotion to duty, God, Country, his wife and family. He was a long-time member of the North Texas Commercial Assn. of Real Estate Professionals, Texas Real Estate Commission, All Saints Catholic Church, and was a benefactor of U.T.S.W. Medical Center.
Private memorial services will be held for his family.
