Marc was born to Angelo and Betty Rizzo on August 3rd, 1962 in Van Nuys, Ca. They moved to Thousand Oaks, in 1964 and lived there until 1972 when they moved back to Woodland Hills in the San Fernando Valley. Marc attended 1 year of Catholic school in 3rd grade and begged his parents to attend a “normal school” with “real clothes” and “good food”. Marc then attended public school and graduated from El Camino Real High School in 1980.
An early job as a chef launched his love for cooking and food that continued throughout his life. Marc received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Redlands while working full time for AT&T. He remained there for the following 28 years until his death on Sunday, September 9th. There he formed special bonds and friendships with coworkers. AT&T is also where he met his loving and devoted wife, Tessa whom he married in 2010. They shared a home in Valencia where they enjoyed completing home improvement projects together. Marc was an amazing artist, a talent he inherited from his late grandfather, Merle. He and Tessa loved and doted on their rescue dogs Dexter and Ripley.
Marc loved going to the gym, a good martini, art and the beach, especially Kauai. He was the life of the party, always smiling or laughing. He had the capability to make any situation fun and was always up for an adventure. He was loved and respected by all that knew him as proven by the close relationships he maintained with his childhood friends Neil, Dan, Allen, Johnny, Dave, Tom and Gary.
He is survived by his wife Tessa, older sister Cathy, her husband Jeff and his nephew Dominik. He was preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Betty, his niece, Ashley and his Grandparents.
