With deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Nancy Suzanne Ryan. In her youth she traveled extensively and continued her passion for travel for years to come. She remembered fondly her experiences abroad and planned to return one more time before she fell ill.
She graduated from Thousand Oaks High School before attending UC Berkley. She earned her degree is Sociology. Nancy worked diligently for her State of California Rehabilitation Department assisting others.
Her unique style was hers alone. She loved to design wearable art from rescued items giving new life to tossed off garments. Her creative talents allowed her to explore jewelry making and design as well as writing of short stories.
Nancy's deepest passion was rescuing animals. Her much loved dog, Harley, gave her countless hours of joy. She supported the arts, loved museums, outdoor concerts and festivals.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Ventura Animal Shelter.
