Peggy Lou Luther, age 79, of Westlake Village, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home and surrounded by loved ones on February 4, 2010. Mrs. Luther was born May 19, 1930, in Bolivar, Missouri, daughter of Ernest and Flossie Teegarden.On August 3, 1951 in Bentonville, Arkansas she married her surviving husband Ret. Lt. Col. Homer G. Luther. The family moved to California in 1963. In 1971 Mrs. Luther began her extremely successful career in Real Estate which led to opening Hacienda Realty. She was a long time member of the Conejo Valley Board of Realtors. Mrs. Luther was an enthusiastic Arkansas Razorback Football fan and attended many games. She loved traveling with her husband, collecting antiques and enjoyed meeting people. She was the devoted and loving mother of Kathy A. Young of Westlake Village, Deborah A. Barnes of Laguna Niguel, and Jeffrey H. Luther of Thousand Oaks. She is also survived by grandchildren Efren Quintana, Brandon Barnes, Brittney and Brooke Luther; sister, Rita Carr; and five great-grandchildren.
