Bob Hunt was always glad to see you. Following his trademark “How are ya”, a conversation with Bob was likely to be a lively and honest exchange, often culminating with Bob’s insightful, humorous and sometimes outrageous view of the world.
Bob really made you think. His considerable success with business and women challenged many norms. The simple solutions he offered to your seemingly complex problems made you wonder just what was holding you back. His raw humor and party antics made you question if the social norms we wear like restrictive cocoons are really all that important.
And Bob really made you laugh. He was always the life of the party, the light in the room and everyone’s favorite jokester. With just his mischievous smile and boyish charm, he made you laugh. Bob never cared if you were laughing at him or with him. He just wanted everyone in the room to have a fabulous time, and to be sure everyone felt included.
Following his “James Dean” teenage years in North Hollywood, Bob graduated from college and parlayed his independent intellect and a strong desire to win into successful business interests in California and Texas. He loved, struggled and grew from his several marriages. But his crowning achievement may well be his relationship with his wonderful wife Erla… perhaps the only woman to truly know, understand, accept and cherish the unique person that Bob was.
Bob will continue to live in the hearts of his wife, 9 siblings, 3 stepchildren, scores of relatives and hundreds of adoring, close friends.
To say Bob was loved and will be missed would be wholly inadequate.
Unique. Original. Unforgettable. Bob
