Bob Solomon was born on June 30th, 1926, in Oakland, California, and went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 @ 10:10pm, having lived a full life on this earth for 92 years, 10 months and 23 days.
Bob was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa and friend. He led by example by simply being himself. His favorite comment expressing his faith was, "God's in charge"!
Bob is survived by his wife, Dolores, whom he married on September 23rd, 1956, who resides in Thousand Oaks, California; daughter, Colleen and son-in-law, John Authelet, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and son, Brad, and daughter-in-law, Peggy, of Moorpark, California. Bob is also survived by three grandchildren, Sean Authelet, Emily and Nick Solomon.
Bob was a computer programmer and logistics engineer by trade. He worked with I.B.M., S.D.C., Lockheed and retired from Hughes Aircraft. He served proudly in the United States Army during World War II and was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States AirForce Reserve.
