He was a leading member of their track team when they won the City Championship at the Los Angeles Coliseum. He entered the Army in 1945. When he returned from the service he married Hortensia Robles and had 3 children who he always cherished.
His second marriage was to Louise Milliken and he was a loving step-father to her 3 children. Rudy worked at Inglewood Electric Wholesale most of his life. He had a great passion for his family, for cycling and the horse races. There were many family gatherings at the local race track.
He greatly enjoyed attending both of his grandson’s baseball games and was their biggest fan.
Rudy continued to be a loving and positive presence in the lives of his family. He leaves behind 3 children, 3 step-children, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grand children, 2 loving sisters, 6 nieces and 7 nephews. He will live forever in each of their hearts and in the hearts of all who knew him.
