

Patrick Dominick Savage, age 94, of Huntington Beach, California, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 12, 2024. He was at home and surrounded by family. Patrick was born April 6, 1930, in Niagara Falls, New York. He was the first generation born in the U.S., of the late James Savage and Annie (McGuire) Savage. He moved to California with his family when he was a young boy and called it home. He met and married his late wife, Sue Anne Doran, and raised his family in Huntington Beach.
From his service in the Korean War to his years as a hardworking Carpenter, Patrick lived a life of dedication and love. He was a kind and generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a bright smile and the most infectious laugh. He enjoyed camping, taking walks on the beach, walking the dogs in HB Central Park and an occasional trip to the casino. His greatest joy however, was being with family and friends. He was a beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Friend.
Patrick is survived by his five children and their spouses; Patrick Savage, Jr. and Danita Hoodye, Frank Savage and Stephanie Conner Savage, Elizabeth Savage and Rick Vorst, Marjorie Savage and Chris Jackson, Kathleen Savage Yamada and Dean Yamada; eight grandchildren, Brianna Savage, James Savage, Amanda Savage, Alyssa Savage Pezzaniti, Andrew Savage, Shauna Vorst Mishky, Victoria Savage and Conner Patrick Yamada; one great-grandchild, Alexander Dominick Savage. He had many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Patrick's warmth, kindness and joy touched everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
All who knew Patrick Dominick Savage are invited to join his family in celebrating his life at the Rosary and Funeral Mass.
