Alan Gordon Green

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Carolyn Green. Devoted father to Kurt Green, Todd Green (Lynne), Kara Centineo (Phil) and Allyson Porfido (Anthony).

Predeceased by his mother Mary Christina Green, father Gordon Green and sister Janice Kemly.

He loved his grandchildren Timothy, Philip, Joseph, Kacie, Michael, Jillian, Jeffrey, and Jeremy.

He was blessed to meet his two great grandsons, Bruce and Logan.

Alan was a dedicated and hard worker for Sier-Bath Gear Company, joined the Teamsters and became a local union representative. Once retired from there, he decided to go to work for the Ramsey School system in their grounds and maintenance department, remembered fondly by many administrators, teachers, and students.

Born in Teaneck NJ, but living in Waldwick for almost 60 years, he was known for his conversations, riding his bike to the pool and swimming laps followed by his signature backflip.

In usual Waldwick fashion, his neighbors were always there for him, and he cherished them.

A private cremation and entombment are planned.
