
TOWT, Alexander “Sandy”, 86, of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Born and raised in Englewood, NJ, he went on to Radio School in Madison WI. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy in Guadalcanal at the end of World War II. Sandy enjoyed a career in advertising where he worked at McCann Erickson and Lennan & Newell. He also spent many years as a marketing executive for special/premium products in the recording industry at both Columbia and RCA Records. Sandy was the founder and President of the Morgan Owners Group of America. He was a volunteer at the Allendale Nursing Home, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ridgewood. Sandy is predeceased by his son David and brother Monroe Towt. He is survived by his wife Li, daughters Susan Towt, and Kimberly Gautier and her husband Andrew, and their three daughters, Amanda, Olivia, and Isabel, of Weston, CT. He is also survived by his cousins, Charles Smith of Boston, and Kay Ogden of Valley Cottage, NY. Private burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Nyack, NY.
