Ana Segura

SEGURA, Ana (Fernandez) age 82 of Paterson, Westwood and Paramus passed away at her home in Paramus on December 17, 2016. Born February 6, 1934 in Los Giles, a province of Almeria, Spain. Immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island in 1952. She was the beloved wife of the late Juan Segura (1988); cherished mother of Antonia Segura Harris, Anita Segura DeVito and Juan Segura; treasured sister to Maria Fernandez Alonso and the late Isabel Fernandez Gomez; devoted grandmother to her six grandchildren: Samantha, Robby, Jonathon, Alexa, Ana and Andrew. Endeared Mother-in-law to Michael DeVito, Robert Harris and Pilar Segura and loved aunt to her nieces and nephews. Ana was an involved member of the Sipporta Village community. Always lending a helping hand and extending herself to all. Ana will never be forgotten. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Always prepared to be a caretaker to anyone in need and to nourish all with her wonderful meals. Her strength was unparalleled. She was an angel to all.

Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Tuesday 4-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, 10:30 am at St. Andrew’s R.C. Church, Westwood, followed by an interment in Fair Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.stjude.org
