Anna Maria Muller

Anna Maria Muller, 91, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2022. She is the widow of Nicholaus Muller and is survived by two children, her daughter Magdalena, her husband John Portscher, and her son Gerhard Mullerand his lifetime partner Hannelore Castronovo. She adored her grandsons Edwin Portscher, his fiance Maria, and Kevin Portscher, his wife Brandi and their twins Oliver and Aiden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews both in Germany and here in the United States. Anna Maria, born in Romania, was a 46 year resident of Emerson. She worked for a local nursing home for many years and enjoyed walking and tending her vegetable garden. She was an avid baker and her care packages were anticipated and enjoyed by family, friends and neighbors alike. Her infectious smile and congenial manner will be missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive their relatives and friends on August 1, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood. It will be followed by a Mass celebrating Anna Maria's life and faith at Assumption Church in Emerson at 10:45 am. The interment will be at Westwood Cemetery on Kinderkamack Road.
