Barbara and I met online through collecting Christmas houses and spent many nights on the phone together watching auctions on eBay.  When my son was accepted to West Point in 2004, Barbara insisted that I stay with her and Cos whenever I came up for events at the Academy.  She and Cos treated us like family.  Barb and Cos took Luke and me to West Point for our first visit there, and in 2008 Barb went with my family to Luke's graduation.  They were the most gracious, kind, and loving people, and my youngest daughters will always think of Barb like a grandmother.  Rest in peace, Barb, my friend.  I know you wouldn't have chosen to leave your precious grandsons so soon, but I also know you are happy to be with Cos again.

Cosmo and I were best friends and went to high school together.  We double dated with Cosmo and Barbara and spent many wonderful times together.  I was best man at their wedding and godfather to one of their sons.  Unfortunately, we lost touch with each other over the years.  I learned of Cosmo's passing through a newsletter from our high school.  I was shocked and called Barbara to find out what happened.  We had a wonderful long conversation about old times.  Barbara said she would visit me in Virginia Beach since one of her children lived not far away.  I looked forward to that, but never heard back from her.  Now, quite by accident I came about her obituary and was saddened to hear of her passing.  I will never forget the wonderful times we had together and cherish the fact that we were best friends.  My sincere condolences to Cosmo and Barbara's children.

I always felt loved around my Aunt Barbara. I wish she hadn't been so afraid to fly - I may have had a chance to see her more over the years. I miss my Godparents - Aunt Barbara and Uncle Cosmo.

I will always remember Barbara as a very giving, compassionate, beautiful human being.  She helped so many of us over the years, through many hard times.  I could not have picked a better Godmother for my Lauren, and she was much more than an Aunt to all three of my kids--she was full of energy, and humor, and a breath of fresh air, always.
Barbara, I know you can hear me, so---thank you for all the wonderful memories, and for being there for us, always....I cannot express what your friendship has meant to me over the years, and I will always treasure those Thursdays we spent together, with REALLY fattening desserts!  Please remember your promise to see me in my sleep, and throw me a rope when it's my turn....You have your wings, just like Clarence, and I'm sure there is a much brighter village where you are this Christmas. Rest in Peace, my dear--along with your beloved Cosmo...Please know, you will always be remembered for your compassion, your strength, and your wicked sense of humor.  Until we meet again.....

Neighbors for over 30 years, we laughed and cried together, watched the kids grow and move on.  Our friendship endured and we will always remember so many joyful moments with Barbara and Cosmo.  They will both be missed, but there is consolation in knowing that they are reunited now.  Condolences and love to the whole family from Roger & Pauline Anthony.

Mike & Tia, Lisa and I are deeply saddened by the passing of your mother. This has been a hard year for you but know that you were a good son to her. She is at peace and with Cosmo now.

Me and my brother loved visiting Grandma's house. She would take us to Toys R Us, the zoo and the park. We would stay at her house for about a week, ditching our parents. We love you and most of all we miss you.

Barbara was one of my favorite ladies, always upbeat, with a heart of gold.  She was a wonderful mother-in-law to my daughter Tia and a good friend.  We will miss her.       Pat & Don Janda (Forked River, NJ)

Barbara was a truly wonderful woman.  We were neighbors many years ago, when I hired her to watch my very ill daughter twice a week, so I could do chores. Robin was getting ready for open heart surgery, and Barbara lovingly tended her, exulting when she could actually get her to eat.  She was so thrilled when Robin came out of that surgery well.  I saw her many years later, after Robin had died, and I could see how truly saddened she was.
