Brigid was a special lady who was deeply loved and adored by her husband Walter “Skip” of over 50 years. She braved a move to New York City from Ireland on her own in the late 50’s to create a new future where she landed a career in the insurance industry and met Skip, her future husband.
In their marriage, Brigid and Skip enjoyed a full social life of many friends, a beautiful home and many occasions to dance together. In her family life, Brigid was admired and loved by her many nieces and nephews; the Molahans (Siobhan, June, Maureen and Danielle), the Sestaks (Mark, Peter, Jane, Ted and Nancy), the Grahams (Pauline, Una and Thomas) and the Kennedys (Anne, Daniel, Morris, Elaine and Jaqueline). Those in the US likely cannot remember their childhoods without her presence.
Brigid is survived by her sisters Patricia Toner Molahan and Anne Toner Graham, her sister-in-law Anne Sestak as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Brigid maintained her positive and joyful attitude throughout her entire life. She was a joy to be around with her playful sense of humor and a discerning mind. She was a person of high standards and a giving heart and endeared those around her.
Brigid was easy to love… and we will all miss her.
