Conrad Wade

Conrad Wade, 82, of Northvale, NJ, formerly of Tamarac, FL, passed away on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026. Conrad, more affectionately called “Papa” in his later years, is survived by his cherished daughter Kimberly Lieber-Wade, son-in-law Laurence Lieber, and his granddaughters Riley (7) and Lucy (5), who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his daughter Ayana Green and her children, Thaddeus and Zoe, as well as his loving siblings. He is predeceased by his wife, Harriet, with whom he lived a beautiful life in both Brooklyn and South Florida for over 25 years.

Papa lived his life with quiet contentedness, finding joy in his true love of golf, jazz, and early morning swims at the beach. He knew he wanted to be an architect from a young age, and his sharp eye and attention to detail served him well throughout his career. But, by far, his greatest joy was watching his granddaughters laugh and flourish, and he spent his final years by their side, making memories, while they did so thanks to his dedicated team of doctors. His gentle and loving spirit will be missed by everyone he touched during his life.

The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Friday, May 29 from 9:30-11:30AM with private interment to follow. All expressions of sympathy, including flowers, are welcome.
