LAUGHTON, David M., 77, of Park Ridge, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016. David is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Mary Laughton, children Scott and his wife Eileen, Bruce and his wife Laurie and Kimberly and grandchildren Elena, Colby, Drew and Finn. David was very involved in his youth with the Merchant Marines, graduating the California Maritime Academy and leaving at the rank of Lieutenant JG. He was very involved in the Freemasons until he moved from California in the 1960’s to New Jersey. David was heavily involved with the Park Ridge Elks Lodge and strongly supported all the efforts the Elks made to assist local Boy Scout Troop #80. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, April 26th from 2-4 And 7-9PM with an Elks service during the evening visiting hours.
