Dorothy J. Carroll

CARROLL, Dorothy J. (nee Roth), 78, of Mahwah, NJ, formerly of Fort Lee, NJ, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was born in Fort Lee, NJ to Charles and Dorothy Roth. Beloved mother of John C. Carroll and his wife Alisa. Dear sister of Robert Charles Roth and his wife Carol. Loving grandmother of Bryan Charles and his wife Abigail, Danielle Marie and her finance’ Christopher Lepage, and John Joseph Carroll. Cherished step grandmother of Austin William and Chase Jameson Strynkowski.

She received her B.A. degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and she received her Bachelor’s degree in education from William Paterson University. She was employed by Bergen County Special Services as a Special Education Teacher.

The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 299 East Main Street, Ramsey, NJ on Wednesday at 10AM, interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Englewood, NJ. www.becker-funeralhome.com
