

Edward J. Kishkill, 93, of Hillsdale, NJ, died on Friday, January 31st, 2014. He was born in Brooklyn (Barren Island) NY, son of Ignatz and Amelia Kiszkiel, who came to the US from Poland in the early 1900's. Mr. Kishkill worked for Asiatic Petroleum in Manhattan, a branch of Shell Oil, until he retired. He was a weekday lector and server at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and a member of the Rockefeller Choral Group in Rockefeller Center, NY. He married Muriel Morrissey of Westwood, NJ and then moved to the Bronx. In 1957, Mr. Kishkill moved to Hillsdale and was an active parishioner of St. John's, where he was frequently involved in doing photography of weddings and communions. Mr. Kishkill is survived by his son, Edward and wife Danielle of Hillsdale, his daughter Mary and his granddaughter Francesca. He was predeceased by his wife Muriel; his brothers Ignatz (Jack) and Stanley; his sister Emily. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, on Monday from 6-8 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
