Frank J. Morgen

MORGEN, Frank J., 84, of Park Ridge, NJ, passed peacefully on Sat., March 12, 2016. Beloved Husband of Edith (nee Bohn) for 57 years. Devoted father of Frank J. “FJ”, and his wife Jean, Mark Gregory and his wife Robyn, Anthony and his wife Holly. Adored grandfather of Hunter Morgen, Kathryn Morgen, Brandon Picchierri and Tyler Magnis. Uncle to Debra Press and Rob Press. Predeceased by his twin sister Doris Press, sister Ruth Miles and nephew Gary Miles. Frank was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. When he returned he started a typesetting business Stable Type with his partner James Sutton. Frank served in the Park Ridge Ambulance Corps for several years and as a member of the Park Ridge fire department from 1954 until the day of his passing. He served as Past President of the Firemen Association and the Relief Association. He was Captain and Second Asst. Chief. Frank was born in the Bronx, NY and moved to Park Ridge in 1937. Visitation 4-8 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Becker Funeral Home, Westwood, NJ. Funeral Service 10 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, Westwood, NJ.
