Helmuth A. Ruesch of River Vale and Old Tappan passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 29th. He was born on March 21st, 1928, in Germany, He came to the United States as a young man in 1955 and married his sweetheart Peggy Weisman in 1958. He was a devoted husband and loving father to Gary and Jeffrey, grandfather of Katie, Ashley, Brendan, Christopher and Catherine and great-grandfather of 12 whom he adored. He shared his love with all of us giving advice, and encouragement deeply caring about each one of us. He was a smart businessman who built a thriving business as an arborist. Over the years, he was a role model and mentor to many who worked with him teaching them not only skills of the trade, but life lessons as well. He shared his love with all of his family and friends leaving us all with special memories.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial celebration of his life on Saturday, December 6th at 2:30 PM at the River Vale Community Church, 600 New Street, River Vale, NJ
