DONG, Henry, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away in his home on January 14, 2015. Hank was born in New York City and graduated from Erasmus Hall High School in 1956. He joined the Marines in October 1956 and served three years, including a year stationed in Okinawa. His love of family, friends, and food were a constant source of joy, and cooking was his lifelong passion. He was also a devoted New York Giants, New York Rangers, and New York Yankees fan and took great pride in his forty plus years as a Giants season ticket holder.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Marie, who resides in Montvale; son, Jonathan Dong, his wife Katherine Porter, and their daughter Madison, who live in Chicago; and daughter, Danielle Dong, her husband Phillip Haberkern, and their children Ellie and Brendan, who live in Boston.
