Hugh C. Fox

Hugh C. Fox, 82 of Westwood, NJ passed away at home on September 25, 2014. Born in the Bronx, NY, Hugh and his family moved to Westwood 50 years ago. Hugh was a US Army veteran and was a sheet metal worker for Local Union #28 in New York City, NY. He was a member of the American Legion Post 21 in Cresskill, NJ and a longtime volunteer at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife, Lois in 1999; his parents, William and Agnes (Kiernan) Fox; and his brothers, William and Edward Fox. Hugh is survived by his children, Lisa Fox, Jeanne Gahan and her husband Randy, Hugh Fox, Jr., and Robert Fox and his wife Diane; his siblings, Sr. Agnes Fox, Helen Wise, Ann Johnson, Eileen Romero, Catherine Casey, Thomas and Daniel Fox; his grandchildren, Kristin, Jennifer, and Kelly Albert, Michael Weisgerber, Aidan and Ryan Fox; his great grandson, Mason and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Monday 10am with a 11am funeral mass at St. Pius X Church, Old Tappan, NJ. Interment will follow in Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, NJ. Visiting hours will be held Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home.
