James J. Cavanagh

James J. Cavanagh, 65 of Oradell, NJ passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. James is survived by his beloved wife, Dorinda of 40 years, his loving daughter, Jennifer, son-in-law Bill and his dear grandchildren Loren, Ryan and Evan. He was the best “Poppy” ever, so full of love and the desire to make his grandchildren happy. He was born in Jersey City, NJ to his parents Leona and Adam and was raised in Fairview, NJ. James is also survived by his sister, Lee Lauchaire, his nieces Sharon and Suzanne and his 5 great nieces and nephews.

James was a long-time owner of All American Driveways Paving & Concrete. He was passionate about his work. His goal was to provide quality workmanship to his clients. His family will remember him as an amazing business owner who took pride in every job that he had the honor to receive.

James will be missed beyond words by his entire family and will be remembered for his strength, courage, hard work, and generosity. He had a heart so big and so wonderful. He will forever live in his family’s hearts. His daughter, Jennifer, will forever cherish her father for the loving man he was.

A Memorial Mass celebrating James’ life and faith will be held at St, Joseph R.C. Church in Oradell on Saturday, August 3 at 11:30AM.
