James was a thoughtful, caring man who always made those he loved feel special by sending cards for every occasion, writing thoughtful notes, and calling often to share news. James had a passion for Basketball since his youth, often telling stories of many legendary street games with his childhood friends. He greatly enjoyed watching many different sporting events, but Manhattan University basketball (both Women’s and Men’s) held a special place in his heart.
