Jane Talcott Smith, age 79, of Park Ridge New Jersey, died January 10, 2026. She leaves behind a husband of 54 years, Leonard, daughter of John Hilton in (Betty) also leaves behind sisters Elizabeth Ffrench (Walter), Barbara Knubertt in (Charles) nephews David Ffrench, (Shannon), James Ffrench, Charles Knubertt Jr, niece Christine Correia (Ryan) great nephews Tyler James Ffrench and Charles A Knubertt , niece Adriana Jane Ffrench. Jane retired in 2010 after working in insurance, banking and finally at NUS consulting Corp. Jane was a central part of her extended Northern family and an avid fisherman and a great friend to all who knew her she leaves a deep hole in the lives of all she touched that will be impossible to fill.
A visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, located at 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, on January 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
