Beloved husband of Dorothy Bloodgood (née Zamojski) for 56 years. Dedicated father of Lisa Hascup and her husband Brian, John A. Bloodgood, and Michael Bloodgood. Loving grandfather of Brayden, Colin, Jake, and Tori. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Loretta and John Bloodgood, Sr., and his younger brothers, William and James.
Jack began his 30-year career in manufacturing as a cost estimator and buyer at Bestcraft Products. He quickly advanced through industrial engineering and production management roles at Mattel Toys, ultimately achieving executive leadership as Vice President of Manufacturing at Northfield Foods. He was a true “jack of all trades” who could figure anything out, be it mechanical, mathematical, or conceptual.
Fishing, vegetable gardening, and cooking were among Jack’s many interests. He was an avid boater and a longtime member of the NJ Bass Federation, where he found good friends and engaging competition. He earned the title of Mr. Bass in 1987. He also especially enjoyed darts, poker, and pool with family and friends. Jack was a caring person who showed his kindness through action by offering a steady, reliable hand to anyone in need.
Jack will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A private service will be held at a later date. The family invites you to honor Jack’s memory in your own special way.
