John A. Carroll of Old Tappan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16th, 2023. John was the beloved husband of the late Lucille, the devoted father of Michelle and Christopher, loving father-in-law of Lisa, dear brother of Edward and Agnes and the loving grandfather of Isabella, Gideon, Sophia, Paloma and Mackenzie. John was born in the Bronx, and then moved to Park Ridge where he spent 23 years, before settling in Old Tappan for 32 years. John had a long and successful career in the financial industry, having been a leading business and technical consultant for 62 years, and was a long time member of St. Pius Church.
Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of John on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood NJ. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and a funeral service will be held from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM, followed by a military honors from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM.
