John is survived by his significant other, Eileen Major; his children, Christopher Romano and wife Svetlana Romano, John Romano, and Cortney Romano; his grandchildren, Kassey Romano, Amelia Greenberg, and Mason Romano; his sister Charlene Florio and husband David Florio; and his sister Jacqueline Simone and husband Daniel Simone.
To know John was to love John. He was a kind and caring soul and a devout Catholic. John dedicated his career to serving others, working for NJ Sport Authority racetrack, Marsh McLennan as a security supervisor, and Becker Funeral Home.
A wake will be held at Becker Funeral Home on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 2-6 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge, NJ, beginning at 10 AM.
