

Josephine Ann Rose Vitiello, 64, of Harrington Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with illness. Though her time with us was cut short, Josephine lived with a vibrant spirit, and unwavering faith. She is now Home, in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Josephine’s siblings are heartbroken by her passing, but they take comfort in knowing she is at peace. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted siblings: Pasquino "Pat" and his wife Laura, Mary Hughes and her husband Michael, Vincent and his wife Sarah, and Anthony and his partner Rachel. She was a cherished Aunt to Anthony and his wife Bissie, Christopher and his wife Julissa, Michael, Casey, and Mia, and a Grandaunt to precious Meadow Rose and Nava Antoinette Vitiello. Josephine also leaves behind her beloved Aunt Anna Williams, Aunt Rose Rotondo, Uncle Vincent and Aunt Ruthie Rotondo, and Uncle Mario Vitiello.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Anthony and Antoinette Vitiello, and her beloved Aunt Julia and Uncle Santo Dimichino, Uncle Joseph and Aunt Agnes Rotondo, Uncle John Williams, and her dear cousin James Dimichino.
Josephine had a deep passion for life, family, and her Lord Jesus Christ. She was an avid reader with a sharp mind, especially drawn to politics and current events. She loved cooking, dining, and fashion—always embracing the joy in everyday pleasures. Josephine earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Fordham University and formerly pursued a successful career in real estate.
The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
A Mass celebrating Josephine’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Harrington Park, NJ on Thursday, July 10th, from 10:00AM to 10:45AM.
A Committal service for Josephine will be held Thursday, July 10th from 11:30AM to 12:00PM at Rockland Cemetery, 201 Kings Hwy, Sparkill, NY
