Lois Schroeder

Lois (nee Staab) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on November 3, 2014. Beloved wife of Ralph Schroeder for over 64 years, devoted mother to Robert Schroeder and his wife Tina, Geralyn Voorhis and her husband Jim, Judy Monocky and her husband Andrew, and Richard Schroeder and his wife Jeanine. Cherished grandmother to Dana, Brittany, Nicholas, Nicole, Robert, Dani, Matthew, and Jimmy, and loyal sister-in-law to Muriel Johnson. Born in Bogota, New Jersey, Lois was a longtime resident of the Township of Washington, where she was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel.

Lois was a vibrant and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law and friend, who brightened the lives of everyone she met. Her greatest joy was in spending time with her beloved family and many treasured friends, enjoying summer visits to the Jersey Shore and vacationing in Naples, Florida.

The family will receive friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, November 6, 4pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 7 at 10am, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 668 Ridgewood Road, Twp. Of Washington, NJ, with interment to follow at Garden of Memories, 300 Soldier Hill Road, Twp. of Washington, NJ.
