RUSH, Mary Eleanor, “Cookie”, 89, on Monday, January 9, 2017 of Emerson. Beloved wife of George. Devoted mother of Rick and his wife Ana; Steven and his wife Diana; Dawn Rozsa and husband Frank and the Late Gary George Rush. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Alston, Shawn Rush, Kevin Rush, Connor Rush, Kyle Rozsa, Kelsey Rozsa and Jack Rozsa; Great grandmother of Emmelyn Alston, Aiden Rush, Aubrey Alston, Jocelyn Rush and Olivia Alston. Born in New York City, she moved to Emerson in 1955. Cookie worked as a patient transporter at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood for 15 years. She sang in the choir at Church of the Assumption, Emerson and a member of the Elks Ladies Auxillary, Park Ridge. Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Thursday 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Victories, Harrington Park.
