Margarita Joan Grande

Grande, Margarita “Marge” age 76, of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016, after a long and courageous eight year battle with cancer. When asked what her secret was for never giving up hope, she said “God.” She is survived by her beloved husband Edward, son Edward Jr., daughter Christina and husband Anthony. Her strong faith and kind, loving spirit was evident to all who came in her path. In this life, she loved most - her family, playing fetch with her treasured granddog Sammy, curling up with a good book, the comfort of home made pea soup on a cold day, and the occasional indulgence in Italian sfogliatelle. Her strong belief in angels affirms that she has now taken on that role in Heaven.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, March 7 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Marge’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, Twp. of Washington, NJ on Tuesday, March 8 at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Twp. of Washington, NJ. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Marge’s memory may be made to autismspeaks.org.
