Michael John Imperato, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY passed away on September 21, 2014. Born in Westwood, NJ, he lived in the Township of Washington before moving to Brooklyn, NY 10+ years. Michael was a self-employed building superintendent in New York. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and a lover of animals. He is survived by his father, Michael Imperato and his wife Frances; his mother, Jeanne (Grassi) Catapano and her husband Leonard; his sister, Amy Pisciotti; his half-brother, Joseph Catapano; his half-sisters, Laura Catapano, Jennifer Rosa and her husband Lino, Christina Imperato; and he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Friday 4-8pm at the Becker Funeral Home with a funeral service at 7pm. Private cremation will follow.
