

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Bogota, New Jersey, Nelson was the son of the late Jerome and Rita Fullam. He was one of ten siblings, including Rita, Catherine, Gary, Raymond, Brian, and Francis Fullam. He was predeceased by his siblings Kevin, Mary Ann & Dorothy Fullam.
Nelson is survived by his ex wife Patricia and also leaves behind daughters Kelly - spouse Pete, Michele - partner Sal, Molly - partner Brian & son Jeff - spouse Janice in addition to 6 grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will remember him for his humor, warmth, generosity, and unwavering support.
Nelson's professional journey was marked by dedication and innovation. He served as President of Abrasive Distributors Corp. for over three decades, leading the company to become a trusted supplier in the industrial supply market. After retiring from the abrasives industry, he brought his sales expertise to the real estate sector, working for a few of the local firms. He finished up his career serving as a code enforcement officer for the towns of Emerson & Westwood, NJ.
Beyond his professional achievements, Nelson was a pillar of the AA fellowship and had a tremendous positive impact on many people struggling with addiction. Nelson was also a very spiritual man who read hundreds of books on various religions and used this knowledge to help others.
He was an avid sports fan and past season ticket holder for the Yankees & NY Giants. He was also an accomplished golfer who was a member of the Old Tappan golf course - where he was recognized for an incredible hole-in-one shot. Playing golf is where he found the greatest peace and joy in his life.
Nelson lived a full and vibrant life, touching countless hearts with his compassion, insight, and sense of humor. His legacy of service, love, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew him.
