Panagiotis (Peter) Kolokithas was born Nov 2nd, 1926 in Sparta Greece. He was married for over 60 years to his loving wife Kostoula and raised two daughters Kathy and Georgia . He moved his family to New Jersey in 1967 where he worked at Jersey City Tobacco Comp untill his retirement. He loved to read and take long walks. He was a physically strong man with a shy, gentle, peaceful and loving personality. He was known for his common sense, natural intelligence, good humor and work ethic. What characterized him the most however was his keen moral awareness and his understand of humanity and society. Peter was always smiling, but his brightest smile was when he saw his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, who he lovingly called (ta manaria mou). He is survived by his wife, two daughters and their husbands, two grandaughters and their husbands, two grandsons, his sister and many nieces, nephews, brother in laws and sister in laws.
