Pat was the daughter of the late Jean (nee Murray) and Francis Daly, both immigrants from Northern Ireland. She grew up in Northvale, NJ and graduated from Closter High School. After high school, Pat was employed by NJ Bell Telephone, starting as an Switchboard Operator and then later as a Service Assistant, subsequently becoming a Dental Assistant for 12 years.
Loving all kinds of sports, Pat took up Archery and Tennis, excelling at both. Ever fun-loving, she would take every and any opportunity to dance. In her later years, Pat became a dedicated hospice volunteer for 14 years, through which she formed many friendships. Staying active was a very important part of her life. Pat was a lifetime member of the Golden Age Club of Park Ridge, as well as a member of the Woodcliff Lake Seniors Association. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister at R.C. Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ.
Pat is survived by her two children Doreen (Charlie) Steck and Michael (Janet) Saddler; her four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as her brother James. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Frank as well as her sister Mary.
A Celebration of Pat's life and faith will take place at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, May 4th, 2026 at 1PM with private entombment following.
