Patrick Brendan Sheehy

Devoted husband of Nancy (née Healy). Beloved father of Anne (Don), Brendan (Susan), Kathleen (Liam), James (Helen), Marty (Sheila) and Maura (Bill). Loving grandfather of Brendan, Gregory, Robert, Sara, Conor, Liam, John, Martin, Kevin, Alex, Jaclyn (Christian), James, Nicholas, William, Anne and James, and great grandson Jayce. Dear brother of Maura Lynch of Tralee, Ireland.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents, Edmond and Hannah (née Quille), siblings Martin, Thomas, Sean, Sr. Margaret Mary C.P., Kathleen (O’Rourke) and Father Kevin Hilary O.S.A.

Patrick played football for County Kerry before emigrating to the US where he became a decorated Korean War veteran (Army) and NYPD officer.

The family will receive friends and family at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood NJ on Sunday, December 1st, from 2pm - 7pm.

Patrick’s life will be celebrated at a funeral mass at Our Lady Mother of the Church, 209 Woodcliff Avenue, Woodcliff Lake, NJ on Monday, December 2nd at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven cemetery, Hawthorne NY.
