In Loving Memory of Riten

With profound sorrow, we remember our dear friend Riten—a truly wonderful human being whose kindness, courage, and generosity of spirit touched everyone who knew him. Riten had a rare gift: he would always go out of his way to help others, never asking for anything in return. Friends like him are few and far between, and his presence in our lives was a blessing we will always cherish.

His daring nature and zest for life were unforgettable. Our many trips to Vraj, taken at what we fondly called his “supersonic speed,” remain some of our most treasured memories—filled with laughter, adventure, and deep companionship. Those moments reflect who Riten was: fearless, full of life, and devoted to the people and places he loved.

Though he is no longer with us in body, Riten will forever live on in our hearts and memories. His warmth, friendship, and spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.
May his soul attain moksha and rest in eternal peace.

In our first ever interaction itself,  Riten won the heart of the entire Majumdar family,  such was his warmth, affection & magical charm that he cast on all of us. It was the winter of 2019, when we met him first  & such was the connection we developed, that my late mother embraced him as her 3rd son. She lived for 30 months after she met Riten & so very often she would talk about him, taking pride in the strong bond with Riten.
Our joys knew no bounds when we learnt that Riten would be visiting us in India joining us for a function that was very close to my mother's heart. While we were all excited to give him a memorable experience as our honored guest, little did we know that right from the moment he steps in, discharging his duties as my mother's son, he will dive deep into each aspect of the function & with his usual million dollar smile, he would become more than the host, extending his support in every step. What an incredible human being Riten is. He is rare, he is a gem, he is an enigma, he will be in our hearts forever.

I got to know Riten when he came to Geo Logistics as an EDI contractor in 2005. Over the 20 years we remained in touch and worked with each other on different projects. From a contractor for my project he became a very good friend. I last met him a year ago when I visited him in New Jersey. Inspite of his illness Riten was active and even came to the airport to pick me up. The world lost a great human being and heaven received a wonderful soul. Deepak Sharma, Irvine, CA.

Riten was not just a friend but like a brother to me. A while ago I came across this wonderful quote which about sums up my relationship with him -
"Not every brother is born from your mother. Some earn that title in the fire. When the world turns against you, and they still say, 'I'm here.'"
Rest easy my dear brother,  you will forever be missed.

Riten it is still so difficult to believe that you are no more. May God give the family to bear your loss🙏🏻

I was deeply saddened to hear of Riten Bhai’s passing. Though I had the opportunity to meet him only once, his warmth, kindness and positive presence left a lasting impression on me. He was genuinely down-to-earth, comforting to be around and someone who made others feel at ease instantly.

It is rare to meet someone whose nature is remembered so clearly even after a brief meeting. Riten Bhai will always be remembered for the goodness he carried and the care he showed to those around him.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and both the children during this difficult time.

One of the many trips taken together. Riten was always ensuring everyone had fun and would go out of his way to bring a smile on every face. He has touched so many hearts and will always be remembered as the most generous person.

Riten you will always be remembered as a person with a relentless zest for life, supremely generous, always ready to help, a person with big dreams with the courage and belief to fulfill them all.

**Farewell to My Beloved Brother**

We gather not just to mourn the loss of my brother, but to celebrate the life he lived and the love he shared. Riten was more than just my brother; he was my confidant and my greatest supporter. 
He brought joy and laughter into my life. His kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit touched everyone who knew him. He had a unique ability to light up a room and make even the darkest days seem brighter.
As we say our final goodbyes, I want to remember the lessons he taught me: to cherish every moment, to love fiercely, and to always find joy in the little things. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
Thank you, Riten for being an incredible brother and friend. I will carry your memory with me always, and I promise to honor your legacy by living life to the fullest, just as you did.

Quite a foodie (will always miss you when I see Frankie), a travel enthusiast and so full of life!  The way you faced life situations with courage, strength and determination is admirable. There’s so much to learn from you. Your advice and support mean a lot and shall always be remembered. 
Can’t believe you are gone.. gone too soon! Will miss you dear brother/friend. Rest in peace.

Riten, it’s so hard to accept that we can’t speak to you anymore. You left this world far too soon. You always wanted the very best for your family and friends, and you gave everything you had to make that true. You cared deeply, and you lived with purpose and love. My friend, you kept your promise. You worked tirelessly, day and night, building a strong foundation for your family and those you loved. Your kindness, your dedication, and your strength and perseverance will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be deeply missed, especially that quirky smile that could light up a room. You left this world too early, but your impact will stay with us always.
