

Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife
of 51 years, Josephine (nee Corra), his children Christine Drivas
(Jim), Janine Krokus (Tommy Gilligan), Robert Krokus (Erika), his
grandchildren, Tucker, Noah, Eli, Hudson, Ella, and Finley, his
siblings Paul Krokus, Helen Rittgers, and Dorothy Hegner, his many
beloved Godchildren, nieces, and nephews, and large extended family.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Helen, and his
siblings, Veronica Spindler, Joseph Krokus, Thomas Krokus, James
Krokus, and Donald Krokus.
After graduating from Pascack Valley High School, Bob enlisted in the
Navy, and then earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson
University. He was a manager at Xerox Corp. for his entire career
until his retirement, and was proud of his commitment to the company.
While living in Suffern, New York Bob was a member of the Village of
Montebello Zoning Board and was involved in the creation of the
Village of Montebello. He also served on the Canandaigua, New York
Zoning Board of Appeals and never shied away from volunteering his
time.
Bob was an avid fisherman and boater. After Bob’s retirement he
volunteered in the Auxiliary Coast Guard, served as Captain of his
tennis team and Co-chair of the tennis committee, and enjoyed many
wonderful years with his wife and family in Canandaigua, New York,
Tuckerton, New Jersey, and Delray Beach, Florida.
Loved by all who knew him, Bob will always be remembered for his
kindness, patience, loyalty, and wit. Now there’s another player at
the family poker table in Heaven.
In light of the current health situation, services for Bob will be private.
