

MAYNES, Robert J. IV, 30, of Township of Washington, NJ, Passed away on Thursday, January, 11th, 2018. Robert is survived by his loving parents Kathleen (nee Ramsay) and Robert III, his brother Ryan, his family dog Duke, Aunts, Uncles and many cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents. Robert loved sports, especially football. He played throughout his whole life, starting with the peewee Township Of Washington Falcons that won the 1997 championship. In high school, he helped the Westwood Cardinals win the state championship in 2004, becoming one of the team captains for the following season. Robert received the NCCJ Community Builders award sponsored by Unilever. He was always excited for the Christmas season and all of the festivities surrounding the holiday. Robert travelled frequently, he lived in Pittsburgh, Denver, Lake Ariel and most recently, Charleston; but made time to come back to New Jersey to sell Christmas trees at the Township Of Washington Fire Department. His hobbies were watching movies, working out at the gym, playing chess, cooking and eating. He worked for the Carpenter’s Union Local #252 and most recently in sales and the hospitality industry. Robert was charismatic, kind-hearted and caring; he will be sorely missed by all. A Mass celebrating Robert’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady Of Victories R.C. Church in Harrington Park, NJ on Saturday, January 27th at 9:30AM with inurnment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly, NJ to follow.
