Rocco De Marco, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025 surrounded by his family. Son of Mary and Anthony De Marco, and brother of John. Rocco was predeceased by his wife, Gladys, and leaves behind four children; Anthony (Jolaine), Elaine (Joe), Gail (Barry) and Rich. He had 12 grandchildren; Tara, Melissa, Anthony, Joseph, Nicole, Angela, Charles, Robert, Michael, Taylor, Jess and Frankie. He had nine great grandchildren; Katelyn, Kora, Victor, Justin, Nellie, Miles, Avery, Annalia and Cecilia. Rocco was a longtime member of the Emerson Fire Department. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Rocco and Gladys had a camper for many years, before trading it for a beach house where they loved spending time together.
A visitation for Rocco will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675. A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Church of the Assumption, 29 Jefferson Ave, Emerson, NJ 07630. An interment will occur Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:15 AM at Westwood Cemetery, 23 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675.
