MOORE, Scott Castle, 53, passed away on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, following a long illness. A lifelong resident of Hillsdale, NJ, Scott was a proud member of the U.S. Army where he served his country with distinction, courage and valor as a combat veteran in Operation Desert Storm. An avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing, Scott was a generous soul who loved his family and friends dearly and held a strong belief in God and Country. Scott is survived by his loving mother Mary Moore, his siblings Cathy, Gary, and Glenn, his loving sister-in-law Marie and niece Samantha. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ, on Sunday, March 26th, from 7-9PM. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 27th, 11AM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
