Thomas J. De Scisciolo

DE SCISCIOLO, Thomas of Emerson, NJ, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016. He was born on March 8, 1923 in NYC. He grew up in the Bronx. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen Trezza De Scisciolo. He was the father of Anthony De Scisciolo and his wife Judith, his daughters Karen Kolb, Constance Blischak and her late husband Michael. He was the brother of Larry and his late brother Anthony and his late sister Mary. Thomas was the grandfather of Melissa Woyshner and her husband Greg, Michele De Scisciolo, Nicole Dasilva and her husband Marcelo. He was the great grandfather of Madison, Conrad Woyshner, Anna De Scisciolo and Jayden Dasilva. Thomas worked for Burns and Roe doing accounting for over 20 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 269, and a World War II Veteran of the Air Force, also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ. Family and friends are welcome to attend his wake at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, February 23 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating his life and faith will be on Wednesday, February 24 at Church of the Assumption at 10AM. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
